H-Venture II

H returns in a fan made sequel by Nickem Games!

Based on a game Louis Lembo made during my 11th grade Game Design Skills class in Barry Tech, "H-Venture", this sensational game follows on the footsteps of the original game and paints it with a new coat with a new engine, while adding a new story, and also lots of new features and moves to the levels, enemies, and even the main character, H.

Taking place four years after the events of the original game, this platforming adventure once again sets you in the vision of the eighth letter of the alphabet, H, on another quest to prevent of the Evil B Army from destroying his home town.

THE STORY SO FAR

In the year 2018, the World of Letters was at peace. The latest threat, a huge spaceship commanded by the malicious B Army, was terrorizing the planet, trying to convert all of the letters into B, and also stole the High-Power Vowels. It seemed like all was lost, but every story needed a hero. Cue H. He’s not just the eighth letter of the alphabet. He is a crime-stopping, master of moves, super-powered force of nature, B-stopping letter. After B stole his lowercase son, H went on an epic quest running, jumping, and climbing through the continent of H-Ville, through sights such as the Waterfalls, the Tube Jungle, and the H-Desert before finally getting to B’s spaceship. After getting to the spaceship and taking down the mech (that looked like a giant B), he found something peculiar. Then the base had a self-destruct sequence, H got his son, and made the escape.

Four years later, the B Army had other plans after their latest defeat by the hands of H. So, they began their evilest scheme ever: Steal the H-Elements (A H-take on the normal elements), sending the town of H to ruin, because they had to live on those to survive! Also, the B Army decided to keep the H-Elements trapped in four different locations in the World of Letter's four other continents! And, last of all, they built the strongest and most powerful space base ever to be seen- the B MOTHERSHIP!

Now it’s up to H to stop the B Army, along with a new entity, once and for all in a multi-continental quest of H-tastic proportions to rescue the High-Power Vowels and the H-Elements before all heck breaks loose!

And what do you know? Maybe the leader of the B's might not be evil anymore?

- A shop to spend your H-Coins on to buy items, extra lives, upgrades, and more

- A setting to disable player animations for the authentic 2018 H-Venture experience

- Various difficulty settings to tailor from the new players to the highly skilled

- Two different choices for voice acting- English and Japanese, each with professional voice actors for their roles

- Time Attack and Boss Rush modes for players seeking a challenge

- An arcade cabinet mode for that need for a coin-op romp for H

- A ranking table to hold the best players in the main story, time attack, etc.

And much more!

Also, there might be a version update that adds a lot of bonus content, like M2-ShotTriggers inspired info panels, a score-attack mode, and even a new playable character! Look out for it later after release!

ESC: Hold for three seconds to terminate game and create suspend save

Requirements

WIndows 7 or higher, and OS X Snow Leopard or higher, with upcoming ports to Linux, IOS, and Android devices.
